Marak Emporium is SA’s leading aesthetics clinic, founded by Kajal Suknandan. Fuelled by a dream, strong ambition and will, Kajal Suknandan established an essential model for treatment that offers the very best skin care products and services to its customers.

Kajal Suknandan the founder of Marak Emporium qualified in 1999 as a Somatologist accredited in South Africa and Internationally (iTEC) From 1999 until 2006 Kajal worked as a Manager and Therapist in the Health and Aesthetic Industry in Johannesburg until opening her own business where she successfully consulted as Make-up artist in Film and Advertising and also servicing a niche clientele.

Her passion to see the World came to fruition in 2017 when she was offered a position as Therapist with One Spa World on the Norwegian Mega Cruise liners. Within a very short time the Company Directors saw her potential and promoted her to Management after completing her studies in Miami.

Kajal saw the world on many cruises until the outbreak of the Global Covid Pandemic in 2020, returning to South Africa in November of 2020 to follow her calling to develop products and help people with skin ailments, scarring, pigmentation, aging, folliculitis etc.

Due to the advanced molecular structure of the finest ingredients sourced from all around the globe, her “all in one” face and body home treatments have in tests been generating results from the first application.

While formulating her product line Kajal also advanced her studies, specializing in micro needling and medical grade peels, being able to accommodate all skin types with multiple therapies using medical grade products, tested and recommended by dermatologists and Certified by the South African Medical Council.

Kajal does an in-depth consultation, bespoke to every individual and provides all aesthetic treatments from head to toe.
